Baby Girl
baby-1
Baby Girl was found in a field when she was a few hours old with her siblings.  Sadly her siblings didn’t survive. We fostered her and hand reared her. When she was a healthy strong  five month old kitten she went into the rehabilitation shelter (cabin).   Baby Girl is one of the cabin’s  free range diners.  The free range diners have their freedom to wander around and they go back to the cabin  at meal times, where they are monitored and have  routine treatment.

Patsy

Yildiz

patsy-1 yildiz-1
Patsy came to us  when she was about 5 months old, she was very nervous and  wouldn’t let us near her. She would sit in her cage and hiss at us. Slowly  Patsy calmed down and  now we can stroke her and pick her up for routine checks.   She is one of the cabin’s  free range diners.  The free range diners have their freedom to wander around and they go back to the cabin  at meal times, where they are monitored and have  routine treatmentSex – Spayed female    Age – 5 years One of our volunteers found a basket covered with a towel, carefully pulling the towel to one side slightly she saw a mum cat and her four kittens, mum took one look at Maureen and flew at her. Maureen tried to move out of the way thinking the mum would calm down, but she didn’t.   Maureen ran out of the way and the mum  chased Maureen down the road and viciously  bit her leg. That was 3 months ago, now in the mornings when I open Yildiz’s  cage  she leaps at me with an arm either side of my neck for a cuddle.  It is amazing that just under three months ago this little girl was a wild ferocious kitty and now she is a very affectionate little girl, who loves her cuddles.
