Charlotte gave birth one month ago in the infamous Botosani public shelter in Romania. She was terribly frightened of this huge noisy place & all she wanted to do was protect her vulnerable babies.
The weather in Romania is freezing & Charlotte’s pups would have died during the winter when the temperatures plummet. This video was taken of Charlotte & her pups last week & we pleaded for a rescue organisation in the UK to save them.
After seeing the video, Claire Walker from Walkers Creek Rescue in Cambridge UK came forward and kingly offered to take Charlotte & her pups to her wonderful family fun shelter in the countryside. Claire will find Charlotte & her puppies wonderful new homes.
However, sadly Charlotte’s puppies are too young to travel & must be 4 months old before being able to take the journey from Romania to the UK by road.
Charlotte & her puppies have just been removed from Botosani shelter & are now in foster care locally. They will need to stay here until the 4 month period is up. There will be foster fees, vaccines & travel costs to pay for these 3 dogs to start their new lives. We hope K9Aid supporters will rally together & help Charlotte & her puppies.
Here are photos of Charlotte & her puppies being removed from the freezing Botosani shelter a few days ago.
