Our hearts break for this little dog who has been deliberately mutilated!. She was spotted in the street of the town of Bamunanika in the Miyana district of Uganda.

The wonderful Rescue Team run by our friends at Animal Lifeline Uganda, immediately picked her up and took her for urgent veterinary treatment.

This lovely dog has been named “Bamunanika” after the town she was found in. She has an open fracture on her leg and and a deep stab wound on her side.

The rescue team and the vet have concluded that Bamunanika’s injuries were deliberately caused by someone aiming to profit from the photos via social media.
This disgusting practice does happen in Uganda and Animal Lifeline Uganda are at the forefront trying to stop it via legal channels.
They have reported this incident to the authorities and together they are attempting to find the culprit.

Please let’s rally together and save this poor dog’s life. She urgently needs surgery to pin the leg so it heals and have her stomach wound treated.
