Caring for Jolie - a 10 year old street dog who needs your help...

This sweet girl is “Jolie”, she’s lived on the streets of Misolonghi, Greece for her entire life (approx 10 years).

Volunteer Sophia used to feed Jolie every day & give her fresh water, but then she noticed her belly was distended and decided to take her to the vet clinic. A large mass was found inside Jolie’s abdomen and bloodwork also showed she had several common disease (dirofilarial, ehrlichia, leismania anaplasma & infection).

Sadly, the prognosis for Jolie is not good, as the tumor is large and covers all her abdominal organs.

Sophia will take Jolie to live at the small shelter she works with, where they will care for her. Sadly Jolie can’t be cured, but we can help make the reminder of her life a lot more comfortable.
The last thing we want is for this poor soul to be back on the streets.

Sophia has therefore asked for our help to raise some donations for Jolie so that she can receive the medications,
supplements and nutritious food to keep her as happy and healthy as possible until her time comes.
