This confronting case comes to us from our friends at TFC Nepal who have asked for our help to fundraise for this poor soul.

Juneli is a street dog from a town called Biratnagar, who is suffering from a very large head tumor. After consulting a local vet, it was confirmed that the surgery required is specialised
and could only be performed by a specialist vet surgeon in the capital Kathmandu.

Volunteer Tula drove Juneli the 400kms/250miles to Kathmandu and her treatment has commenced. However recent tests show that her blood count is extremely low, making it unsafe to proceed with the tumor surgery at this time. Additionally she also has TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor) which must be treated before any surgery can be attempted.

Currently, Juneli is on medication for one week. After her follow-up appointment next week, we hope her condition will improve enough to safely continue her treatment and prepare for surgery.

Due to the complexity of her medical needs, the estimated cost of her full treatment is $1000.
