The best xmas present Matz could ever wish for!

How often does a dog with no back legs get the chance of a wonderful home?
The answer is almost never!…but this little dog has been offered such a home – he just needs our help to get there!
Matz’s story is told to us by Natsuko…
My name is Natsuko, and for over 10 years I have been running a foster home for rescue dogs in Bangkok. Throughout this time, I have cared for more than 100 dogs, many of whom have survived cruelty, abandonment, accidents, and life on the streets. I have dedicated my life to giving these animals shelter, medical care, and the chance to meet their forever families.
Today, I would like to introduce you to a very special dog who urgently needs your help to grasp the final chance of his life.
“Matz” is an eight-year-old rear-limb–disabled dog whose life has been filled with hardship, survival, and small miracles.
Years ago in Indonesia, he was struck by a motorbike and his back legs were shattered beyond repair. Amputation became the only way to save him.
A kind Australian family rescued him at that time, and for a while, Matz finally knew warmth and love. Later, the family moved from Indonesia to Thailand and brought Matz with them.
But several years on, their financial situation collapsed—and they abandoned him.
Because Australia prohibits direct import of animals from rabies-risk countries like Thailand, taking Matz back would have required a long, expensive process through Singapore.
For them, leaving him behind became the “easier” choice. And so, Matz lost his family again.
Despite losing both back legs and living with incontinence from his accident, Matz never lost his joy. He hops like a tiny kangaroo—fast, playful, full of life.
His smile is bright enough to soften any heart. He truly has the soul of an eternal boy.
✨ Then, a Miracle Happened…A rescue-oriented couple in the United States, who previously cared for a disabled dog, learned about Matz and were deeply moved.
Their beloved special-needs dog had passed away, and when they saw Matz, they felt an immediate connection. They reached out with a message that changed everything:
“We would love to adopt Matz.”

Their home is fully prepared for a disabled dog, and they understand exactly how to care for him—his diapers, his cleanliness needs, and his high-needs daily routine.
For Matz, this is not just a new home.It is the final and greatest chance of his life and right now, he needs your help to reach it.
🚨 Why Matz Needs Your Help Now
Transporting a special-needs dog across the world is not simple. We must secure:
•A flight volunteer
•Excess-baggage clearance for the dog crate
•Airline pet-handling fees
•Mandatory tests and paperwork
•An export agent
•A safe travel crate
This is Matz’s one chance to finally live the peaceful, loved life he deserves. We are asking for your help to make it real.
Natsuko has managed to raise some funds from her own supporters but she needs our help to raise the balance remaining of $600usd.
Thank you!
