“I don’t know where to put their food to protect it from the rain. Seeing the shelter like this made me just hug the dogs & cry”…

This shelter is in the town of Mesologhi, Western Greece. Extreme weather has brought destructive storms to this region and powerful winds
& relentless rain have caused serious damage to this little shelter.

80 resident dogs call this shelter home. They range in age from 2 – 13 years old and ten of them have serious health issues and require special care & medical treatment.

This shelter does not receive any government assistance and relies solely on donations to survive.
One of the shelter volunteers & local rescuer – Sophia tells us “it’s heart breaking to see our dogs without any protection from the weather”.

Roofing is urgently needed to protect these dogs & some iron supports to hold up the roof panels.

We’d really like to help this shelter provide proper protection for the 80 dogs in their care. At the moment the shelter is a disaster zone & they urgently need our help!
Please everyone, any donation will help. Our goal is $500usd and we need to reach that goal urgently.
