URGENT FUNDRAISER - to Help the Flood affected dogs of Romania

Galati remains under red code ALERT!

Over the past week, the city of Galati in Romania has been hit by severe flooding. Galati is the home of Sava’s Safe Haven Dog Shelter
and we have been extremely concerned for the safety of the shelter!

After speaking with the family who own & operate this shelter, mother & daughter – Oana & Alexandra have told us that thankfully there shelter is currently unaffected, but the water is just a few kilometers away. So Savas are now going every day to the flood affected areas and searching, feeding & providing veterinary care to the hundreds of animals now homeless.

Alexandra tells us that “most of these people lost everything and the majority of them don’t have insurance, because they are elderly and living in very poor areas.
Our hearts are broken for those who lost their life and all the animals who have been left behind”.
Sava’s are currently onsite in these poorest areas providing food to the dogs. But they desperately need items like DOG BOWLS and DOG HOUSES to ensure the dogs can eat properly and have somewhere to shelter. Alex says We will continue go there every day and help as much as we can”.
Alex is particularly concerned as the weather will soon become very cold & make life even more difficult than it already is.
We are truly grateful to Sava’s for always being there to help people and animals. Whenever disaster strikes, Sava’s are never far away and we are so proud to support their amazing efforts.
Please give generously everyone! Thank you.
