ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MATCHED!

We have undertaken a challenge – to provide enough steel panels to enclose the dog pens
at “Helen’s Greek Strays” Shelter in Kozani Greece & a kind supporter is matching all your donations!

At present the shelter is open sided & Kozani can drop to minus 15 degrees in Winter! They experience wind, rain, snow and ice floating into the dog pens!
They have witnessed other shelters surrounding their pens with steel panels and this seems to help immensely with keeping the dogs protected in winter.
So these panels are what we’d like to provide for Helen’s shelter asap!

It is not only Winter that these panels will be much appreciated, but also in Summer when the blistering sun penetrates the runs. Protection all year round is desperately needed.

We have had the shelter measured and we need to cover 130 meters. Each steel panel is 80cm wide x 2meters high. so they need at least 162 panels at $12usd per panel.
So our goal is $2000 allowing for a few extra panels. The exciting news is that one of our wonderful supporters (Janis Rosenthal)
has offered to match everyone’s donation, so that we can more quickly reach our goal!! THANK YOU JANIS!! 

This is a big amount to raise, but we are really hoping to do this! Helen’s shelter is a sanctuary for the stray dogs who call it home & we love helping this wonderful place whenever we can.
