Susie - found in a school yard close to death...

This dear little soul has been living on the streets of Macedonia all her life. Local rescuer Milka Dokozova found Susie lying in a school yard, unable to move & thought she was dead.
Susie was barely alive & her condition was so bad, Milka was doubtful she’d survive.
Milka immediately took Susie to the Vet where she tested positive for Leishmaniasis (a parasitic disease caused by sandflies) & Heartworm.
She is also blind, & one of her eyes will definitely need to be removed.
Susie & Milka face a long journey ahead back to health, but initial signs are good. Susie requires blood tests, a drug called Milteforan to treat her leishmaniasis,
Heartworm treatment (over 11 months), Antibiotics, Liver Support supplements & vet boarding fees for at least 6 months.
Once Susie is healthy, fully recovered and able to travel, Milka is going to work with a wonderful organisation in the UK to try and find Susie a forever home.
Some of our supporters might remember a previous case we helped for Milka – a little dog called “Marley” who needed as much treatment as Susie.
He’s now living a wonderful life in the UK & we’d love this to also happen for Susie. She’s only 5 years old & has a lot of life left to live!
Please we need to raise this money to treat Susie & ensure she has a bright future to look forward to! Thank you everyone!
