This country is reknown for its horrific trade in dog & cat meat. Every day in Cambodia much loved pets – cats & dogs are STOLEN from loving families and stray animals are captured & taken to slaughterhouses to be BRUTALLY KILLED for human consumption.
The absolute BEST way to prevent this horrendous suffering of animals is to spay/neuter the animals, so that more puppies & kittens are prevented from being born & being subjected to this unthinkable horror.

Every month K9Aid attempts to reduce the suffering of animals off the streets of Phnom Penh, Cambodia by supporting an amazing local man called Tet Lin, who arranges the sterilization of as many animals as he can. Every Monday Tet hires a local tuk tuk transport which takes him & several animals, hours across town to the vet clinic which provides a spay/neuter service for him at a reduced rate. He departs at 7am when he collects dogs and cats from local pagoda’s, markets & streets. The trip to the clinic takes 2-3 hours. Usually all animals are sterilized & recovered by 3.30pm which is when Tet begins his journey home, returning the animals & getting back to his house in the dark. Tet undertakes this exhausting ritual every Monday of every week.
