Dominique tells us…
The past few days have been extremely difficult for all of us, and personally, I have been experiencing nightmares due to the stress of the situation. After taking stock, we have discovered that we lost a total of 13 dogs in the aftermath of the typhoon. We were able to retrieve the bodies of 12 dogs, but unfortunately, one was swept away, and we are still searching for the remaining three.
The cost of delivering supplies to the shelter where our dogs will have to go until we repair our shelter has become a burden on our limited resources. Each trip using a van or a 4×4 vehicle costs up to P2700 ($46) due to the long and rough road, with drivers requesting an additional fee for the distance. We have already sent deliveries twice using the donations we received, but the recurring expenses are taking a toll on our finances.
Dom urgently needs food for the dogs and will need a lot of support in the coming months. Please please help if you can! We are trying to raise $500 as soon as possible.
