Throughout war torn Ukraine, there are villages with thousands of ABANDONED PETS roaming the streets. These animals were left behind by people desperately trying to escape the war.
Virtually no people remain in these areas & they are referred to as “ghost villages. Only the dogs remain – all of them struggling to survive. These dogs have not been born on the streets and just don’t have the survival skills of “street dogs”.
Kind people from nearby villages have been driving to these “ghost villages” solely to feed & provide fresh water for the dogs. Without help like this, many of them will die.
K9Aid have joined forces with some small local groups who are trying very hard to help these dogs and one thing they need urgently right now are DOG HOUSES, so the animals have somewhere to shelter from the weather.
A local man has been building dog houses for the Rescue Groups at the minimal cost of $32 per house and we’d love to be able to provide 100 dog houses – or even more! There are thousands of abandoned dogs in these areas so there’s a huge need for dog houses. You can see the houses in the attached photos and video. The houses are sturdy, a good size & the volunteers have been trying to make them comfortable for the dogs with blankets/straw etc.
I know we can do this! Who’d like to be the first supporter to donate a house! The cost is $32 per house, so 100 houses will cost $3200.
